Coil Tong, Coil Upender And Lifting Beams

The ranges below are standard capacities. The size of each load, the crane, and the working conditions are settled in the quote.

Coil Tong

Grips a horizontal steel or metal coil with the arms. A narrow arm lets coils be stored close together. The pad on the contact face keeps the coil from being crushed.

  • Lifting capacity is up to 50 metric tonnes. Coil width is 300–2,200 mm.
  • The arms close only at the coil center and do not open under load. Control is remote. Motorized rotation is optional.

Coil Upender

Turns a coil, a sheet coil, wire, a paper bale, a pallet, or a mold in place. The tilt is not left to the overhead crane. The unit runs when it is powered.

  • The electric Coil Upender’s published family upper tilting capacity is 100 t. Nominal capacity is set for each project.
  • Tilting is bidirectional 90° between the horizontal-axis and vertical-axis positions.
  • Remote control and an inverter soften the start and the stop. A light curtain is optional. An end sensor and audible and visual alarms belong to the technical scope of this family; their configuration is confirmed at quotation.

Lifting Beams

Lifts a long or wide load from two or more points. A lifting beam is loaded in bending from below. A spreader beam opens the suspension to both ends and loads the beam in compression. A rotating beam turns the load about its own axis.

  • Adjustable and hook lifting beams are up to 200 t. The span can be fixed or adjustable.
  • The motorized beam is up to 100 t. It positions the load through 0–360°, and rotation speed is set for the project.

Eight Product Families

01 — Coil And Roll Lifting The C-hook is built up to 50 t, to the coil width. The manual handwheel horizontal tong is marked 2.5 t, and the wire coil, wire rod and coil lifter is marked 1,000 kg. The inner lifter’s standard capacity is up to 3 t, and its mandrel is 3–6 in. 02 — Lifting And Spreader Beams Adjustable and hook lifting beams are up to 200 t. The motorized beam is up to 100 t and positions the load through 0–360°. 03 — Plate, Slab And Long Product Slab tong 5–150 t. Mechanical mobile slab tong with padded scissors and a center table. The roll lifter’s published family upper capacity is 100 t. 04 — Concrete, Stone And Precast Block grab 3 t and 150–1100 mm. The segment tong’s published family upper capacity is 60 t. Natural stone’s standard capacity is 5 t, and the panel’s standard capacity is up to 10 t. 05 — Tilting And Turning The electric Coil Upender’s published upper tilting capacity is 100 t, with bidirectional 90° movement. Hydraulic tilting’s published upper capacity is 50 t, over 0–90°. 180° mold tilting’s published upper capacity is 60 t. 06 — Industrial Transfer Cars The transfer car and coil upender is 1–32 t and up to 10 km/h. A flat-platform rail car is designed to the load and the rail. 07 — Special Lifting Container spreader up to 45 t. Side drum lifter 0–1 t. The pallet lifter hangs from the crane hook. 08 — Crane And Power Supply Fully enclosed and semi-enclosed conductor bar, 40–200 A. Cable trolley and cable reel. Process cranes for anodizing, chromate, and cataphoresis lines.

Tonne figures show the published family upper limit or the standard range on the product page. A load outside that limit is designed as its own equipment.
