Privacy Notice

Under Article 10 of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK), this notice explains how we process the personal data you send us through the quote form and the product configurator on hendl.com.tr. Visit records and cookies are described on the Cookies and Visit Data page.

Data controller

What data we process

  • Identity: name and surname.
  • Contact: email address, phone number, the company you work for, country.
  • Request details: the product you are interested in and your note; the load and equipment details you enter in the configurator (for example coil dimensions and the weight to be lifted), the preliminary design calculation, general arrangement drawing and parts list derived from them; the design suggestions you approve; the request reference number, the date and time you sent the form, and the page language.
  • Marketing (only if you allowed Marketing in the cookie notice): if you came to the site from an ad, the ad click identifiers and campaign parameters. Details are on the cookie page.
  • Transaction security: to limit misuse of the forms, your IP address is counted briefly in the server's memory; it is not written to the request record.

We do not ask for special categories of personal data in the forms; please do not write such information in the note field.

Purposes and legal grounds

  • To assess your request, carry out a preliminary engineering review, prepare a quotation and get back to you: processing directly related to the conclusion of a contract (KVKK Art. 5(2)(c)).
  • If you place an order, to perform the contract and keep the documents and records: performance of the contract (Art. 5(2)(c)) and legal obligation (Art. 5(2)(ç)).
  • To prevent misuse of the forms and to follow the number of requests: legitimate interest (Art. 5(2)(f)).
  • To measure how our ads contribute to quote requests: the explicit consent you give with the Marketing choice in the cookie notice (Art. 5(1)).

Who we share it with

  • Our staff: your request is sent by email to our sales and engineering team.
  • Email service: our emails pass through and are stored on the servers of Çizgi Telekomünikasyon A.Ş. (Natro) in Türkiye.
  • Server: our website and the configurator run in the data centre of Hetzner Online GmbH in Germany. Configurator requests are stored on this server. The quote form is not stored on the server; it only passes through it on its way to email.
  • Google: only if you gave consent in the cookie notice, for ad measurement. Your name, email, phone and company are not sent to Google. Details are on the cookie page.
  • Public authorities: only where required by law.

How we collect it

Your data is collected electronically and partly by automated means from what you enter in the forms on the site.

How long we keep it

  • Requests that do not lead to an order are kept for 2 years from the last correspondence and then deleted.
  • Requests that lead to an order are kept for the 10 years required by commercial law (Turkish Commercial Code Art. 82).
  • Ad click identifiers are deleted automatically after 90 days.

Your rights

Under Article 11 of the KVKK, you may apply to us to learn whether your personal data is processed; to request information if it is; to learn the purpose of the processing and whether the data is used accordingly; to know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom it is transferred; to request correction if it is incomplete or inaccurate; to request its erasure or destruction under the conditions of KVKK Art. 7, and that these actions be notified to the third parties to whom it was transferred; to object to a result against you arising solely from analysis by automated systems; and to claim compensation if you suffer damage from unlawful processing.

How to apply

In line with the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller, you may apply in writing to the address above, by registered email (KEP) to kedyas@hs01.kep.tr, or from the email address you gave us before and that is in our records to info@hendl.com.tr. We reply free of charge within 30 days at the latest.
