Product introduction
The HENDL Kerb Stone Lifter is designed for manual handling of concrete kerb stones and suitable concrete blocks by two operators. Each unit is manufactured with a fixed gripping opening selected for the dimensions and geometry of the intended load.
Standard Capacity And Dimensions
Two-person manual handling • Scissor-action mechanical grip • Rubber-faced gripping pads • Fixed opening to suit the stone • RAL 1028 standard finish, alternative colours on request • Working limits and dimensions established for each engineered model. No generic numerical load rating or dimensions are claimed.
Working Principle
Lifting actions applied through the two carrying handles are transmitted through a scissor-type mechanism to opposing gripping pads. Rubber-faced contact surfaces engage the sides of the stone. Safe operation depends on load geometry, surface condition, weight, coordinated handling and model-specific instructions. This product is not specified for crane lifting.
Selection
Specify the stone width, height, length, weight, surface condition and required handling orientation. Suitability for horizontal or vertical handling is assessed against the actual geometry and risk analysis for each order; suitability for both orientations must not be assumed for any individual model.
Configuration options
Fixed jaw openings engineered for different kerb and suitable concrete block geometries; application-specific capacity assessment; standard RAL 1028 or alternative colour on request. Operating limits are determined separately for each model.

Questions
Which materials can this lifter handle?
It is designed for concrete kerb stones and suitable concrete blocks. Geometry, weight and contact surface must be checked before model selection.
Is the gripping width adjustable?
The approved configuration is a fixed gripping opening manufactured to suit the specified stone. Different dimensions can be accommodated through separately engineered units.
Can it be suspended from a crane?
No. This product is defined for manual handling by two operators and is not specified as a crane lifting attachment.
How many people are required?
The product is defined for coordinated manual handling by two operators.
Can you manufacture for different kerb sizes?
Yes. Separate fixed-opening models can be engineered for specified stone dimensions and shapes.
Are rubber pads standard?
Yes. Rubber-faced gripping pads are part of the owner-approved configuration.
What is the lifting capacity?
The model-specific limit is established after reviewing the load and geometry. No generic rating is stated.
Is vertical handling possible?
Horizontal and vertical orientations require separate engineering assessment. Both are not automatically approved for a single model.
Is the jaw opening fixed?
Yes. This configuration is manufactured with a fixed opening based on the specified load.
Can it attach to a crane hook?
No. This is a two-person manual handling device, not a specified crane lifting attachment.
What colour is available?
RAL 1028 is standard, with other colours available upon request.
What information is needed for a quote?
Provide length, width, height, unit weight, surface, handling orientation, work site and requested quantity.
