Big Bag Lifting Frame
Fixed lifting frame for four-loop FIBC bags
The HENDL Big Bag Lifting Frame is a fixed, welded steel below-the-hook attachment for handling flexible intermediate bulk containers (FIBCs) fitted with four lifting loops. A central top lifting eye connects to a suitable crane or hoist, while safety-latch hooks at the four corners provide defined loop attachment positions. The images show a reference unit marked WLL 2T (2 metric tonnes). Different capacities and frame dimensions can be engineered for individual projects.

Product introduction
The HENDL Big Bag Lifting Frame is a fixed, welded steel below-the-hook attachment for handling flexible intermediate bulk containers (FIBCs) fitted with four lifting loops. A central top lifting eye connects to a suitable crane or hoist, while safety-latch hooks at the four corners provide defined loop attachment positions. The images show a reference unit marked WLL 2T (2 metric tonnes). Different capacities and frame dimensions can be engineered for individual projects.
Standard Capacity And Dimensions
The illustrated reference frame carries a WLL 2T marking. The approved configuration comprises one central upper lifting eye, four safety-latch corner hooks, welded steel construction and an RAL 1028 paint system with 120 µm total film thickness. No universal capacity range, self-weight or overall dimensions are claimed. EN 13155 and EN ISO 12100 are design references; CE and conformity documentation is available for the relevant product configuration.
Working Principle
Connect the central lifting eye to a compatible crane hook. Place each of the four bag loops on its designated corner hook in accordance with the FIBC manufacturer’s lifting instructions. Check that the safety latches close and that each loop is correctly seated in the hook. Take up slack slowly, verify the load is balanced and stop if any loop or connection is unsuitable. Lift and transfer vertically within the approved WLL and lifting plan.
Selection
Selection is based on the maximum gross filled-bag mass; bag length, width and height; the position and dimensions of all four loops; the FIBC rating and its manufacturer’s instructions; crane-hook compatibility, available headroom, working conditions and required quantity. The fixed hook spacing is designed for the specified bag geometry. The 2-tonne marking applies to the illustrated reference unit only.
Custom dimensions and application-specific engineering
Frame dimensions are specified for the actual bag and lifting arrangement, not offered as an adjustable mechanism on the reference model. Alternative capacities, corner spacing and lifting-eye geometry can be evaluated as separate engineered configurations. The illustrated WLL is not transferable to other variants.
Technical Figures For A Quote
For a quotation, provide the maximum gross bag weight, bag length × width × height, the location and dimensions of all four lifting loops, the lifting method (crane/hoist) and the required quantity. Manufacturer instructions and a photograph or drawing of the bag are helpful.

Questions
What is the lifting capacity of the Big Bag Lifting Frame?
The reference frame pictured is marked WLL 2T (2 metric tonnes). Other capacities are assessed and designed for the specific bag and lifting application.
Can the frame be manufactured for different bag dimensions?
Yes. The welded frame and corner-hook spacing can be manufactured to suit specified dimensions. The illustrated model is not described as adjustable in operation.
Which type of Big Bag can be lifted?
The standard application is an FIBC with four lifting loops. The bag manufacturer must approve the loops and fabric construction for the intended lifting method and loaded weight.
How does the attachment connect to the crane?
The central upper lifting eye connects to a crane hook of appropriate geometry and rating. Interface compatibility is checked during technical selection.
Are the four hooks fitted with safety latches?
Yes. The approved P042 configuration includes safety-latch hooks at all four corners. Latch closure must be checked before lifting.
Is the frame telescopic or adjustable?
No. The reference unit is a fixed welded frame. Separate units can be built to dimensions specified for different bags.
Can this model be mounted on forklift forks?
The published configuration uses a central lifting eye for a crane or hoist. Forklift-fork compatibility is not claimed for this model.
Is the load necessarily shared equally by the four loops?
Load distribution depends on bag geometry, filling and loop positions. Check the FIBC manufacturer’s instructions and the approved lifting plan.
What is the standard finish?
The approved finish is RAL 1028 paint with 120 µm total dry-film thickness.
What do EN 13155 and EN ISO 12100 mean here?
These are design reference standards used in evaluating the lifting attachment. They are not a blanket certificate for every possible custom variant.
Is CE and conformity documentation available?
CE and conformity documents are available for the approved configuration. Documentation for other engineered variants is determined for the specific deliverable.
What information is needed for an enquiry?
Maximum filled-bag mass, bag dimensions, all four loop dimensions and positions, crane/hoist lifting arrangement and quantity.
